Life Coach & Mentor

Chris Berry, M. Ed.

With a Masters in Experiential Learning and a Bachelors in Psychology combined with years of experience, Chris lives by the motto "I will be done living, once I am done learning" and feels that the My Atlas Life Boston and Portugal locations provide an incredible learning experience for both himself as well as the young adults he coaches.

Chris started with My Atlas Life in Boston, then transferred to My Atlas Life Portugal for six months before returning to the team in Boston.

Since receiving his bachelor in Psychology from Roger Williams University in 2010, Chris has spent his career working in various fields of experiential and service-learning, in an effort to invite others to expand their own comfort zones.

Chris' work history includes: co-teaching in at-risk K-5 classrooms, running a chainsaw with the Idaho Forestry Service, providing disaster relief efforts across the West coast, completing various trail maintenance projects across New England, leading a team of outdoor educators in adventure programming and team-building offerings via the YMCA of the Rockies, as well as facilitate groups of young adult travelers in South East Asia as a program leader for Rustic Pathways.

It was a combination of these experiences and seeing the impact this area of education had on students, that lead Chris to earn his M.Ed in Experiential Learning through Plymouth State University, in 2017. With his newfound knowledge of the experiential learning cycle, Chris took his skill set to the fields of adventure-based counseling and therapeutic communities in both Vermont and Coastal Maine. Here, Chris created positive change with his clients as a residential adviser, work crew leader education, and experiential learning coach.
