Life Coach & Mentor

Scott Shaffer

Scott grew up in Idaho where he spent  time camping in the mountains with his family, going backpacking, and learning to mountain bike, rock climb, and ski.  He graduated with a degree in Secondary Education and History from the University of Idaho and moved to China to teach English at a university prep school.

In 2013, Scott decided that he wanted to apply his background in the outdoors and education in a non traditional setting and began working in therapeutic programs, including primitive and adventure wilderness therapy and residential treatment.  In these settings, he experienced the power of mentorship and modeling and how connection to others and the environment can bring about positive change.

In his free time, Scott enjoys adventuring in the mountains and desert with his wife and two dogs, rock climbing, skiing, biking, playing guitar, fly fishing, knife making and woodworking.
